Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center’s Expansion

This month, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) reopened the second floor of its Hayward clinic, welcoming back patients and staff to the remodeled space. As of Tuesday, March 14th, TVHC dental and pediatric services were up and running in the new space.

“Our dental and pediatric services are high needs for our patients, and we are extremely proud to provide our staff and patients with a modern space that is theirs,” said TVHC CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo. “Having these services back in our Hayward clinic is vital to our patients in closing the gaps in care.”

In operation since 2004, TVHC’s Hayward serves over 10,000 patients per year and is vital in improving access to care for underserved community members, helping to reduce health disparities while providing culturally and linguistically competent care.

Other services provided at the Hayward clinic include adult medicine, behavioral health, WIC, and eligibility, helping to increase access and integration to high-need services.

As Hayward’s population grows, so does the need for affordable and accessible care. With the newly remodeled second floor, TVHC is prepared to meet the demand of its patients and community members.
