Fueling our Economy and our Healthcare Heroes

We at Alameda Health Consortium and Community Health Center Network know that our health centers’ successes stem from dedicated employees who won’t let a pandemic get in the way of providing excellent health care services to their community members. Our health center staff are on the frontlines of this pandemic every day and to show just a small amount of the immense gratitude we have for them, we provided each health center with mini-grants to purchase meals for their staff so that they can continue to do what they do best – serve all members of our community with continued, tireless, dedication. Additionally, this gift was also a way to help boost the local economy by encouraging health centers to purchase the meals through independent restaurants if possible.

We loved being able to fuel our health care heroes so much that we’re going to do it again! Be on the lookout for a second round of funding to come soon!
