Axis Community Health Hosts Special Vaccine Events to Accommodate Staff and Students Ages 5-11

On Saturday, November 13^th, Axis held a special vaccination event for staff and their children, ages 5-11, who were eligible for their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. While boosters are being offered to eligible staff on weekdays, this Saturday vaccine clinic was held to accommodate staff with children. Almost 50 people were vaccinated, with half of them being children getting their first doses. Axis kids were given a special goody bag with treats and activities to keep them occupied during their 15-minute observation period.

Axis is also continuing to serve Tri-Valley students by offering off-site vaccination events in Livermore and Dublin. The latest pop-up vaccine clinic was held at Dublin High School on Wednesday, November 17^th. The sign-up list for this event was filled in seconds and Axis staff vaccinated 250 students with their first dose of the 5-11 Pfizer vaccine in less than 3 hours. Axis will be returning to Dublin High School on December 8^th to administer their 2^nd doses.
