Objectives:

  • To understand the role of consulting psychiatrists to aid with urgent crisis or trauma situations in primary care settings.
  • To become acquainted with the referral and care coordination process for crisis intervention in Alameda County.
  • To discuss case-based examples to demonstrate team-based crisis protocols in primary care.
