Mission The mission of West Oakland Health Council, Inc. is to improve the health and well being of residents of Oakland, Emeryville and Berkeley and to reduce morbidity, prevent disability and premature death in the community.

- Intensive Learning Center for children with emotional/behavioral problems
- WIC Program: nutritional support for pregnant women and young children
- Options for Recovery Program: supports pregnant women with substance abuse concerns
- Breast and Cervical Cancer Program: promotes and supports women in obtaining timely breast and cervical cancer screening treatment
