- Sole provider of medical services for the indigent and uninsured residents of Eastern Alameda County
- One site in Pleasanton and one site in Livermore
- Service area is 900 square miles and includes the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and the surrounding rural areas
- Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm; Tuesday and Thursday evenings for urgent care
- Uninsured residents of Alameda County do not have access to hospital care - they must travel to Highland or Children's Hospital for these services. A 30 mile on-way trip requires five bus transfers and takes two and one-half hours
